Treatment Acceleration: a Pathway to Efficiency

Precision orthodontics and new dimensions in surgically facilitated orthodontics using digital technology: The intersection of Science and Technology for faster treatment with enhanced safety and efficiency. Navigated Dynamic Piezocision™ for speedier orthodontics and phenotype modification in association with conventional orthodontics or clear aligners will be explained. Dynamic Navigated Piezocision™ allows the surgeon to see the corticotomies in REAL TIME on the monitor screen, thus avoiding roots, anatomical structures and getting to proper depth. Integration into a multidisciplinary treatment protocol with space closure or space redistribution when teeth are missing for more effective restoration treatment will be discussed as well as the possible use of robotic implant surgery. An algorithm based on the understanding and the judicious use of the regional acceleratory phenomenon (RAP) will be suggested to treat challenging orthodontic cases in a timely and efficient manner by the dental team.
